Thinking about therapy?
You may be considering therapy because you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, overwhelm, or depression. You may have reached a point where you feel the need for support. Perhaps you want to understand yourself more clearly. You might notice patterns that keep repeating—whether in relationships, at work, or in how you talk to yourself. These patterns can leave you feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward. You may want to untangle how your past – your childhood, or previous relationships – is affecting your present. Who we are in society can have all sorts of effects on how we experience ourselves and our lives.
How I can help
I can offer you a space to pause, to reflect, to talk, and to begin making sense of what feels troubling or overwhelming right now. You can explore connections and discover new ways of relating to yourself and your life. You can say what you need to say knowing that I’m not judging you. I’m interested in your strengths as well as hearing about what’s difficult for you; I want to understand your own distinctive story.
I work with individual adults aged 18 and over.

Sessions
If you haven’t had therapy before you might be wondering what to expect. My approach is relaxed and informal, and centres on collaborating with you to explore the issues that feel important to you. This might involve becoming more aware of what is happening in the present moment, being curious about what is happening in the relationship between us, or noticing body sensations – and responding with acceptance and kindness. All of this can help give new perspectives on familiar difficulties.
Fees

About me
I’m interested in how our backgrounds and identities can influence how we experience ourselves and the world. These experiences give us such unique perspectives, while at the same time we share so much as fellow human beings.
Aside from being a therapist, I also work as a researcher. I’m curious about the world and I love to learn. My research is about parents’ health and wellbeing during pregnancy and the postnatal period: I’m interested in discovering what helps people during big life transitions like becoming a parent. I’m interested in trying to understand how these events affect the meaning we make of our lives.
I’m inspired and supported by my long-standing Zen Buddhist meditation practice. My Buddhist practice helps me to be present in my life as it is.
